Crystal Bennette was born in Orlando, Florida. She is a senior at the prestigious Rollins College, where she is majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in health and a Global Health Minor. She is currently interning at Brain and Spine Center, where she is observing and conducting research on patient provider communication within the healthcare setting. She is interested in health communication concerning prevention of chronic diseases. Crystal is now working on research with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation to help find a cure for individuals who are suffering from Crohn’s Disease.

Bennette graduated from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and earned her A.S. in Cardiopulmonary Science in 2014 with a 3.0 G.P.A. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, singing and researching different health topics. In the future she plans on becoming a nurse anesthetist who travels the world, and starting a non-profit organization for individuals who are suffering with Chronic Illnesses.
